Harmless face New york city police officer planned to kill and eat 100 women

Federal agents arrested a New York City policeman last week in connection with a plot that is as horrific as it is disturbing.
Authorities say 28-year-old Gilberto Valle plotted with an unidentified online co-conspirator to kidnap, torture, kill, cook and eat 100 women.
According to investigators, Valle and the unnamed coconspirator exchanged emails and other online messages outlining details on how to accomplish the macabre task.
"I was thinking of tying her body onto some kind of apparatus ... cook her over low heat, keep her alive as long as possible," Valle allegedly wrote in a message in July, according to a complaint affidavit.
Investigators also gave details on how Valle was allegedly planning to use chloroform to knock the women out and even reportedly described how he could fit a woman into his oven by "bending back her legs."
The affidavit also reportedly said that Valle and the co-conspirator discussed how "tasty" one potential victim looked.
"Her days are numbered," he allegedly wrote.
"You do know if we don't waste any of her, there is nearly 75 lbs of food there," replied the alleged co-conspirator, who then allegedly asked Valle what his favorite cut of meat was, in the chilling exchange.
Most disturbingly, the alleged gruesome gourmet purportedly compiled a grisly "menu" of sorts, using the names of women compiled from a federal law enforcement database that included addresses and photos of them. Valle also allegedly claimed that he personally knew several of the women on the list.
As if these allegations were not morbid enough, authorities also said that Valle made a deal with someone else in February to kidnap another woman and sell her for $5,000, and also allegedly met with one potential victim over lunch.
"The allegations in the complaint really need no description from us... They speak for themselves. It would be an understatement merely to say Valle's own words and actions were shocking," said FBI acting assistant director Mary E. Galligan.
Valle faces charges of kidnapping conspiracy and unauthorized use of law enforcement records. According to investigators, there is no evidence so far that any women were actually harmed, but the investigation is ongoing.
"This case is all the more disturbing when you consider Valle's position as a New York City police officer and his sworn duty to serve and protect," said Preet Bharara, U.S. Attorney the Southern District of New York.
