Jimmy Henchman’s Brother Sentenced to prison for 12 Years

The brother of accused cocaine trafficker James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond received a 12-year prison sentence for running his own cocaine trafficking operation Wednesday (October 5).


Kesner Rosemond, 50, had already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Prosecutors say that in addition to helping his brother deal drugs in a separate operation, Kesner had set up a “side business” that competed with Jimmy’s. Kesner cut side deals with suppliers and came up with a plan to distribute his cocaine nationwide using fake Fed Ex accounts according to the New York Post.
He obtained the identities of people and their personal financial and biographical information from loan applications they had submitted to a New York car dealership.
Then Kesner Rosemond opened Federal Express accounts in their names, and later shipped drugs from Los Angeles to New York City using FedEx packages sent “in the names of these innocent individuals,” Kaminsky told the judge at a Brooklyn federal hearing last month.
The “seriousness” of this tactic is particularly disturbing, given that it “not only resulted in their being victims of identity theft, but also had the horrifying potential of exposing them to interrogation or arrest if a package shipped under an account bearing their personal information had been intercepted by law enforcement,” the prosecutor wrote in court documents.
During an August 2010 search of Kesner Rosemond’s home in Georgia, Drug Enforcement Administration agents found loan applications from the unnamed auto dealership in New York, prosecutors say.
His younger brother, hip-hop music promoter James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, faces charges in New York that he used his music business as cover for his bi-coastal cocaine trafficking ring.
Federal prosecutors have indicted him on money laundering and obstruction of charges – as well as an additional charge that he ran a criminal enterprise while smuggling kilos of cocaine in music industry equipment packing cases from Los Angeles to New York.

Tiny Cottle stands by her man. . . again, she has a point though. Some people think TI should stop tryn to stunt and handle his buisness.

T.I.'s wife tells TMZ ... multiple prison officials actually saw the tour bus that picked up the rapper yesterday -- and even took photos with T.I. in front of it -- and NOBODY raised an issue. Tameka "Tiny" Cottle tells us ... when the tour bus rolled up to the Arkansas prison yesterday, prison officials"Walked him over, took pics and told him good luck in life." TMZ broke the story ... the warden ordered T.I. back into custody after he made the trek to his halfway house, claiming T.I. only informed officials he would be traveling in a van ... and not a tricked out tour bus. But Tiny says, "This is a bunch of bulls**t ... they should have said something before he got on the bus ... T.I. would have politely gotten into a van." She adds, "T.I. is one of the strongest individuals I know ... and they just trying to break him in more ways than one and it's not gonna work! 'Cause what God got for him, can't no man take that away ... period!"

I forgot to post a blog yesterday about my show called Is prison the new college for black men . I tend to stay busier now days .

In Real life I had things going on that caused me to be stressed out so I called my self throwing me into my work .

I must say it worked .

If you ever had heartbreak or losses in your life and I could be your doctor( sounds like a prince song-chuckle ) ,

I would prescribe this remedy to deal with it all. It is an escapism when nothing else is going correct. I already have a drive for success but being fueled by pain and other things like how much I love my mini me and junior mint makes me go super_duper_hard. I will not stop till I'm labeled the next Oprah - sans the gossip they start about her .

Anyway _I enjoyed yesterdays show because I find it interesting that society always asks questions about why the black male always does this and that like that .

Why must they always be up under scrutiny of judgement from those that want to cast stones knowing all along if we toss a good one at the crib_ down it goes.

I don't feel particularly that there is any medical or psychological reason that we should question them. It is just not logical to me on how it benefits those that ask these questions about black men. Wow, no wonder they feel like targets .

I had the misfortune of getting arrested one time for a traffic ticket that was totally old . I had forgotten about it and I went to jail. I had to stay for a week because the judge wanted to teach me a lesson about remembering things that are of priority. My little "stint"in the county may have been short , but it was all I needed to see.

I witnessed women who had gotten locked up and they boyfriends hadn't came to see them and when this prisoner found out I braided hair - asked me to do her hair so she could look good for her man. It was kinda sad because cornrows are not attractive but it was all we had at the time for style options . He liked it, she said because her hair was always flying when he came to see her .

I peeked at them in the visiting room and he was looking at her like whoa momma!


She wanted to look special for him and he was loving it .

Another girl was using rubberband that she got off her underwear to pull her hair up in a ponytail.

This other young woman was facing 35 years because she was with her boyfriend when he supposedly killed a smoker( dope head) in street terms.

She said she didn't know exactly what happened - she thinks the smoker was trying to rob him and pulled her boyfriend's gun out and the boyfriend and him began to wrestle and the gum went off killing the drug addict.

She was terrified and there was someone else there who had actually seen the whole thing - the drug addict friend.

He was the only witness and if he testified that she didn't see the crime she would be able to "go home" but the person had went into hiding so she felt there was no hope for her . She had already served three years.


There was one lady who had not spoke to her parents in 7 years . So her cell mate's mom adopted her and would send letters. I saw this same lady put vegetables in a baggie and stuff them in her pocket because she hadn't received commissary in 7 years . No honey buns no chips no soda.

I take it the vegetables were her late night snack . She actually got sent to the "hole" ( a cell where you cant receive any letters any pictures you are stripped of your visiting rights_ you are on lock down) They threw her mail away so they could give her bed to another prisoner - if they find one to fill the bed. She was sent to the hole though for storing food in her room and creating an infestation of nets in her cell. when they opened it up to air it out it stunk bad.

Just think I was only on there a week and I witnessed this .
So to call jail college is wild .

Jail is far from that and black men did not create these prisons .
So who is to blame for this being labeled the black mans college .

It is an unfortunate situation that happens as we said on the show from society being harnessed into a viscous cycle of despair.

Limited choices, no resources or education on how to use those resources.

I know I personally missed out on some opportunities myself due to this.

But as you see the MJ LIVE SHOW is popping and my music career is strong so I turned out great.

We need to stop putting them ( black men) up under a microscope.

I f you watch a person constantly then you will find out they are only human - and they will make mistakes.
Targeting them with harassment plays a big part also.

Maybe society can learn to uphold them on the pedestal they deserve .

Because they are very strong people who just need a winning chance like the rest of us .
and also if you serve 5 years or more in jail and you get educated and find religion and discover your potential in this lifetime _ I applaud you .
