If you haven't heard her music try an think of Nancy Sinatra in the 60's with her hit song 'These Boots' -  only she did not end up being a one hit wonder and she also goes platinum .. Yeah that's Lana. She is the real deal .

Lana  is a songwriter and she has been on the club circuit for years , maybe even since the age of 16 .

The reason why her story is so mysterious is because she came onto the music scene under another name , actually by the name Lizzy Grant
 and she was not given a well reception - true she had her followers and true blue fans . But overall she lacked a certain star quality he industry looks for . You just have to have that IT factor. It is rumored that she comes from old money and her father is funding her career . Well now he is .

People caused a big stink about her because she supposedly took some of her fathers money and had a  plastic surgery Make over  ----- Enter Lana Del Ray.

The singer went from a frumpy blue jean wearing local bar t-shirt wearing tomboyish wallflower , to a screaming siren . What I like about her lyrics is if you listen close , she spits a little bit of Hip - Hop lingo and that smart of her because she does it almost subliminally . Lana Recently made an appearance on SNL which is short for Saturday Night Live and gave what I thought was an iconic performance but media quickly through her up under the bus saying it was lackluster and weird .    Anyway , take a look at some of  her work.
