What is it with Dj's not knowing their role - This interview with Nicki Minaj and Funk master Flex is very telling of the hate that goes on in the industry against top artist and women also .
Funk Master Flex is too personal to be a great an iconic Dj so is Rosenberg and shock radio and idiot radio are two different things . Nicki Minaj is clearly stating that it was the president of the label made the call to pull her out of the set for Summer Jam because of the statements made by Rosenberg who is a fellow Dj at Hot 97.
Yes Funk master , realize , there was no fixing the fact that you and your team were disrespecting the headliner of your show and what makes it so bad , it was from a personal opinion.
The Dj Rosenberg stated that he hopes that Nicki Minaj does not perform ' her wack ass song Starships ' BOOM ............ crickets .. OK , Why in the world would you say that and you PERSONALLY are not funding the show, is Rosenburg paying out of pocket no , and he overstepped his boundaries . This move by Rosenberg sounds thirsty and they need to sit down with their whole staff and school them on radio etiquette, - Why in the world would you disrespect the person who sold a truckload of tickets for the show and they know it , so does Young Money .
It is not Young Money's fault that they pulled out the show and let the fans down , it was Hot 97 fault that they did not handle their politics correctly and let me say this their Dj's have to much mouth and even seen to be power drunk . This has been my thought for years , they instigated the beef between Jay z and T- Pain . As a community as Nicki said - we need to do better . Does Funk Master Flex really have negotiation power to ask a multi platinum artist to come back next year . No and this is what I mean , he is just a DJ. What is it with the media now days that they want to appear to be best friends or buddy buddy with top artist to be official . Its not professional -- and also if Nicki Minaj and Funk Master Flex were really freinds , shouldn't he ride for her. He stated that you become a crossover success , you become a victim of s diffrent type criticism. I smell several haters and they need to have several seats . Yes Nicki is a crossover success , don't knock her , she is getting money and they might just be mad.
If I'm not mistaken the Dj's are back peddling to save face and maybe even their job and if I were the program director, I would have fired all their asses for having diarrhea of the mouth . Funk is an excellent verbal manipulator and that is not a skill that proffesional Dj needs .
That is a bad look for Hot 97 and this is not the first time that this station has jumped in the middle of beef.

True - but it was all kind of hype surrounding the beef . They are known instigators ,. Flex is known to try to go hard on artist , hence the singer Olivia , a former G- Unit artist , which is also a woman had beef with Flex because of his insinuations and talking out the side of his neck . Hot 97 does not deserve an apology ... Come on son . Yes we all know that Nicki has songs that everyone loves and songs that we are like what was she thinking , I think she makes songs for everyone . I dig that . Hot 97 dodged bullets literally.,... my advice for the station , be more careful with your words...
