Even though he’s in jail right now serving a sentence for the role he played in crafting the biggest ponzi scheme in US history, Bernie Madoff’s legacy lives on. His nephew Joey Madoff celebrated his uncles legeacy in his video. Joey is avaoiding the financial world and decided to get into hip-hop. His song, “Bernie Madoff Familia,” featuring Triple actually dropped in January, but the hip-hop world is just now hearing his “B.M.F” remix. Pitchfork Music Festival 2013 Lineup-----------> Summer Concert in Chicago July 19-21, Bjork, Solange Knowles, R. Kelly, M.I.A. Among Acts Performing
The Pitchfork Music Festival is relatively new by music festival standards, but that doesn't make it any less awesome. The festival started in 2006 by Pitchfork Media and occurs every summer in Chicago's Union Park. The 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival will be taking place July 19-21 and the show just announced its full lineup, with some major acts scheduled to appear.
A number of singers have been added to a lineup that already consisted of R. Kelly, Bjork, and Belle and Sebastian. Among the names just announced to be performing this summer in Chicago are Beyonce Knowles' little sister Solange, M.I.A, and Yo La Tenga. Some of the artists to perform at last year's festival included Kendrick Lamar, Sleigh Bellsk, and Vampire Weekend.
According to Pitchfork.com, the exact times and the full schedule of the festival is coming soon. In the meantime, tickets are on sale now for the Pitchfork Music Festival, but I'm sure they will sell very fast, so you may want to try and buy them now if you want to go. Three day passes are $120 while single day tickets are $50. You can purchase tickets here

Season 12 of "American Idol" has been a roller coaster ride for "Super Bass" singer Nicki Minaj. First she signed on to become a judge on FOX's hit reality show, which is great. However, it soon turned into a sour experience for Nicki who got into a much talked about heated exchange with fellow new judge and diva Mariah Carey. There also have been numerous rumors and reports of Nicki acting like a diva on set. So will Nicki be back as a judge on season 13 of "American Idol?"
On a conference call, Nicki Minaj remained non-committal about judging next season according to MTV. "Would I come back next season? I think people would rather be surprised," said Nicki. "I like to save the mystery and the drama. I'd never give that away. I always say this and I mean it from the bottom of my heart, just that people behind the scenes at 'Idol' have been a dream to work with. I'm just super grateful to have been given the opportunity."
Nicki has had a lot of drama surrounding her on this season of "American Idol." The singer was even late for a live taping of the show. When pushed for an answer, Nicki continued to avoid the topic, leaving fans to wonder if we will see the outspoken judge again next season. "I'd rather not speak about that at this time," said the "Idol" judge. "I feel like I've kind of already answered it, but I would rather not even give any insight because I kind of feel like it's exciting for people to not know who the next season's judges will be."
In the Monday afternoon conference call Nicki also revealed her picks for the season 12 winner of "American Idol." "I would say Kree and Angie are the front-runners," Nicki said via conference call according to USA Today. "Kree, Angie and Candice. I think that, outside of their voices, they've won people over already, which I think is evident in just what I see on Twitter with my fans. Those three seem to have really made an impact." It's probably no surprise to anyone who has been following "American Idol" this season that Nicki mentioned three female contestants. The females have consistently been the stronger singers. We likely be seeing a female win season 12 of "American Idol."
Breezy Talks Domestic Violence Incident with Ryan Seacrest 'On Air,' 'Eternally Grateful' RiRi Forgave Him
According to Billboard, Chris Brown is dropping a new album titled 'X'. Rihanna's on-again, off-again beau confirmed rumors started by a J.Lo Instagram photo and gave a sneak peak of an upcoming single called "Fine China."
Billboard got a sneak peak of the single and described it as "an uptempo song defining the qualities of a woman." "Fine China" is set to drop on April 1.
Brown described the track thusly at a Burbank event, "I wanted to touch musically on Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke and incorporate those influences with the new."
Brown confirmed that 'X' was coming sometime this year after a J.Lo. in-studio Instageam pic set the rumor mills a buzzing.
According to Billboard, collaborations on 'X' include Diplo, BAM, Drumma Boy, CP Dubb, Mel and Mus, Verse Simmonds, Camper, Roccstar and PK.
Brown also gave attendees a peak into several other songs. There's "Autumn Leaves" a lad-back track that dishes on life and love. Reportedly, it will feature Kendrick Lamar and is a potential second single.
"X", the title-track is a Diplo-produced banger that Brown summarized with the statement "the bass will beat through your chest."
"Lady in the Glass Dress"is a ballad about heartache and getting back on the horse after a nasty breakup.
"Add Me In" is an upbeat track that is chock full of math metaphors and deals with trying to snag a female.
Brown also opened up to Ryan Seacrest this morning in an interview, particularly on the subject of his and Rihanna's troubled past.
Being at that young age, I can tell you I was arrogant and definitely hotheaded," Brown said, referring to the conditions that led to his infamous domestic violence incident in 2009. "Everybody has a temper, but for me, it was not knowing how to control it when I thought I had the world in my hands."
"I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident and that time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she has and she's a wonderful person I'm eternally grateful and thankful," he told Seacrest.

Jodeci gets booed off the stage in london
Jodeci's reunion show in London didn't go over well. Rather then being greeted with cheers, the crowd turned against them, booing the group, last night (March 23).
The R&B foursome was part of a lineup of a '90s group line-up that included Dru Hill, SWV, and Blackstreet, held at the Wembley Arena.
Fans may have already been on edge thanks to the absence of member, Devante, and the remaining three's performance didn't help the situation.
Concertgoers tell The Running Lip that Devante was a no show, so that left the remaining members K-Ci, JoJo, and Mr. Dalvin. Audience members said they were singing off key, and at one point, Mr. Dalvin jumped off stage, only to have trouble getting back on. Dru Hill had to take the stage to finish up Jodeci's set.
A fan in attendance tells The Running Lip, “They were singing the classics and everything was good until Mr. Dalvin jumped off the stage and couldn't climb back up. Then K-Ci & JoJo took the solo and couldn't keep it together. They missed all the notes they were singing. Dru Hill had to take over and sing their own songs for them.”
Fans reportedly began to leave while the debacle took place on stage, and Twitter blew up with reactions.

Keyshia Coles comes out swinging at Queen Bey
If Beyonce's team wanted a response to her leaked snippet of her single "Bow Down" they got it because the track is receiving so much backlash that its rumored Beyonce new album is being pushed back till fall due to the negtive responses the track is receiving.
Like every other newly released song that Bey has put out in the past, this one is in being drug for dear life in its first listening stages.
Especially in the music communityand from her own peers .The very outspoken RnB singer Keyshia Cole who went on the record to say how much she wasn’t feeling Bey’s new track due to the nature of the song. She asserted that Bow Down is a complete contradiction to other song’s that Beyoncé has put out in which ultimately empowered women and encouraged them to stick together – songs such as “Run the World“. Keyshia Coles took to twitter to also say " Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk sh-t when convenient 2 [f-ck outta here] First “Women need to Stick together” now b-tches better Bow. Smh.

Angela Simmons Drops Details On Her New Website & Major Moves To Come
Angela Simmons has been in the spotlight for as long as we all can remember, and for just about that amount time Angela has always kept one solid thing under her belt, a lucrative hustle.
The latest of her endeavors is the launch of her new lifestyle website, AngelaIam.com. Straying away from the footsteps of celebrity fan pages, and sites of the likes, Angela has created a unique haven for her fans and fashion lovers alike to get an inside look at her world's inner workings.
GlobalGrind had the opportunity to chat with Angela about her new website and what she hopes to deliver to the world with it.

My site is a lifestyle site. Beauty fitness fashion, health everything you can name, and I also have a diary on there where I kind of just share all of my thoughts and what is going on. It is very personal and I wanted to be more personable with my fans and to really let them into my mind so I decided to create a diary, a place that is private, but for them to come and explore my mind.
I also have a really cool section on there called ask Angela, a place where my fans can come and ask me anything! If they are having trouble with relationships, or they want to know about health or if they want to know about beauty and what to use on their skin, anything I may miss while putting up stories on my site.
It is a very personal site where my fans get closer to me or someone who is just interested to know about fashion can come. It is a one stop shop.
I have been building this site for about a year and I am happy that it is finally done and it is here. Twitter is cool, but I wanted to find a way that was better to really show them pictures and images, and to just really share my mind and give them places to interact with me. The site is going to be a place where I will be able to showcase new artists, new designers and just up and coming talent. It excites me to have a platform to do that on.
I am actually building an e-commerce portion now as we speak that will be a really cool fashion boutique. There are going to be one of a kind pieces on there and I will be giving away some of the things I wear, or doing stuff for different charities on there.
There is so much that I want to do with the site!
Jay-Z To Executive Produce "The Great Gatsby" Soundtrack
Jay-Z will not only executive produce the soundtrack, he will also contribute original content and music to the collection.
Jigga Man will be working alongside composer Craig Armstrong who will assist Jay in arranging the coveted project.
Composer Craig Armstrong revealed interesting details about Jay-Z's role as executive producer, stating:
"Luhrmann and Jay-Z were introduced by Leonardo DiCaprio (Jay Gatsby), and this led to a two-year collaborative effort.
"During this time, Jay-Z worked with Luhrmann and his team to capture, translate and contrast the feelings of Fitzgerald's decadent era with that of our own, using hip-hop and jazz, music contemporary and period, to bring two distinct American moments to simultaneous life."
Surprisingly, The Great Gatsby project has a cool fun fact regarding Leonardo and Jay-Z's budding friendship.
During the pre-production phase of The Great Gatsby, Leonardo was present during a studio session with Jay-Z and Kanye West when they recorded their Grammy award-winning song "No Church In the Wild" featuring Frank Ocean and The-Dream.
This isn't Jay-Z's first time around the executive producers block. The "Heart Of The City" rapper executive produced the soundtrack of the video game NBA 2k13.
The Great Gatsby is set to hit theaters May 10.

Nba Star Derrick Rose wants to assist in the expenses for Chicago Baby Shot 5 Times In Alleged Gang-Ralated Attack Against Father
UPDATE : Chicago Bulls superstar point guard Derrick Rose has not played a single basketball game this season but is still leaves his mark on Chicago.
According to CBS Chicago, the multimillionaire star player plans to assist in paying for the funeral of Jonylah Watkins, a six-month-old girl who was shot while her father changed her diaper. Her father, Jonathan Watkins, 29, was also wounded but is in stable condition and undergoing treatment at Northwestern Medical Hospital. The shooting is considered gang-related since Watkins, a member of the Gangster Disciples was the intended target.
CHICAGO — Authorities said Tuesday that an attack in which a 6-month-old girl was fatally shot and her father was wounded was apparently gang-related, and that they are searching for the gunman and the driver of the getaway van.
Jonylah Watkins was shot five times during the Monday afternoon attack in the South Side neighborhood of Woodlawn. She died Tuesday morning at Comer Children’s Hospital, police said.
Her father, Jonathan Watkins, was in serious but stable condition, recovering at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from wounds to his side, buttocks and face, which was only grazed, police said.
Witnesses said the attacker approached Jonathan Watkins around 1 p.m. while he was standing beside his minivan and changing his daughter’s diaper. She was on the front seat. Her family said Jonylah was shot in the thigh, shoulder, lung, liver and bowels.
Jonathan Watkins belongs to a gang and has a long criminal history, and Monday’s attack appears to have been gang-related, McCarthy said at a Tuesday news conference. He said police weren’t sure yet whether Watkins will decide to cooperate in the investigation.
“No child, certainly not an infant, should be a victim of gang violence,” McCarthy said.
Authorities found surveillance video of the blue van in which they believe the attacker fled. They believe a driver waited in the van during the shooting.
McCarthy said police flooded the neighborhood Monday night to prevent a retaliatory attack over the infant girl’s shooting.
“He was obviously targeted,” McCarthy said of Jonathan Watkins. Police were trying to determine whether a reported Facebook post threatening Watkins actually exists, McCarthy said.
It wasn’t the family’s first brush with Chicago’s gun violence. The girl’s mother, Judy Watkins, was shot in the knee while she was pregnant with Jonylah, according to the woman’s mother, Mary Young.
“There’s too much shooting over there,” Young told reporters Monday. Speaking of her granddaughter, she added, “She’s nothing but 6 months old. How could anybody – what kind of heart?”
Chicago has seen a rise in gun violence – much of it gang-related – and registered at least 500 homicides last year for the first time since 2008. In 2011, there were 435 homicides.
McCarthy had told reporters Monday that homicides were down 26 percent this year, compared with the same period a year earlier. On Tuesday, he said: “It’s hard to see the progress.”
Sweet Brown Sues Apple For $15 Million
Internet sensation Sweet Brown is suing software giant Apple for profiting from her YouTube success without permission, reports Business Insider.
Sweet Brown is suing Apple, a radio program called The Bob Rivers Show, and a handful of other parties for unauthorized use of her likeness, according to court documents.The basis of the lawsuit stems from a song called “I Got Bronchitis.” The Bob Rivers Show, according to Sweet Brown’s complaint, produced the song with samples from Wilkins’ interview with the local TV-news station. The song sampled phrases like, “Ain’t nobody got time for that,” “Ran for my life,” and “Oh, Lord Jesus it’s a fire.”The suit claims that in April 2012, the defendants started selling the song on iTunes for profit. It also claims the radio program and its owner falsely advertised that Sweet Brown had given her consent for the radio station to use her voice and likeness in the song.The suit was first filed in the District Court of Oklahoma County in June 2012. At that time, Wilkins sought a total of $15 million from the defendants. The suit has since moved to the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
